I feel so loved!

My parents sent me flowers and they came at the perfect time. I felt so encouraged and so loved. I hope I am loved by my children the way I love my parents.

At least most of the time. Thank you Joshua for helping make my time a little more colorful while on the computer.

Gunny man

At the retreat I got the idea to invite the gunny man into our house. For FHE we decorated him and I told the kids that anything they leave down and out of place the gunny man can come and take it away. The idea is that they become more aware of takeing care of their personal things. Will see how it works.

Our first and probably only trip to Legoland

I woke up this morning and wanted to do something out of the ordinary. So off to Legoland Jared, Joshua, Jacob, and I go. The boys had fun. The rides all seemed geared toward a younger crowd and we could go on almost all of them. It was a nice change of pace kind of day.

Treat number two

Here is my second experimental treat. This was so easy and so yummy. Carmel popcorn with toffee bits. Then drizzled with white and milk chocolate. and the kids loved it!

I want to give these women the best experience possible at our retreat in a little over a week. What better way then to feed them amazing treats? Here is attempt number one. Carmel apples.

Trip to Vegas

With our car now dead we have two choices to make. Buy one or rent one. We decided to look to buy today. We knew it was coming so we not. Jacob here seems to show his enthusiasm for the idea. I love his messy bead head. So adorable.
